Day Programs Need Your Help!

New Jersey recently changed how it reimburses day habilitation programs that serve adults with intellectual disabilities. This change has resulted in a drop in funding that has placed significant financial strains on many day habilitation service providers, Easterseals New Jersey included. I know that you want to make sure those we serve have access to the care they need; this is why we are asking you to advocate for our program participants

Easterseals New Jersey would like for you to join with other family members, guardians, staff members, and advocates to testify. We would be grateful if you joined us in speaking to this issue at one of the hearings. The dates, times and locations for the hearings are below:

If you are unable to attend, the Oversight Board is also accepting written testimony via email. Having as many advocates reach out to the Oversight Board as possible will be a critical piece in our campaign to ensure that our Day Habilitation programs are able to thrive.
