At Easter Seals New Jersey, our goal is to enrich the lives of people living with disabilities and special needs, and those who care about them, by providing opportunities to live learn, work, and play in their communities!
On October 17th, individuals, families and friends, will participate in the premiere Easter Seals New Jersey Fall Walk With Me & 5K Fun Run to raise critical awareness and funds for individuals living in New Jersey with disabilities and special needs. Proceeds will benefit the nearly 8,000 individuals and families served through Easter Seals New Jersey’s various programs statewide!
The spooktacular activities include:
1-Mile Trick-or-Treat Walk
5k FUN run (untimed)
Community Resource Fair
Ballpark food/concession stands available
DJ Entertainment
Kids’ Playground
Other activities for the entire family!
The event will take place on Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at the Lakewood Blue Claws First Energy Park in Lakewood, NJ. Registration will open at 9am followed by the walk/run kickoff at 10:30am. In addition to the walk and 5K Fun Run, we will be hosting a Community Resource Fair, in which a variety of organizations will host a booth to share their programs and services with all attendees of the event. The fair is for families who may have a loved one living with a special need or disability, the opportunity to gather information that may be of assistance to them.
