“Since I’ve started my job in Document Imaging, every day has been a good
day!” The three participants are thankful for the opportunity and love the fact
that they’re able to work in a space that’s similar to an office.
Blair takes pride in watching the participants build up their confidence. He
explained, “Sometimes the participants feel as if they’ll receive negative
feedback when they go out and try to find work in the community. I assure
them that no matter what the response is, they need to turn every experience
into something positive and always strive to show they have the capability to
do anything.” A lot of the participants lack the confidence to attempt other jobs,
but that's easily fixed through encouragement and training. “Once they see that
they’re capable of the task, their mood changes dramatically and you can tell
how happy they are.”
Jackie, Mike, and Cindy have all received Employee of the Year awards for
showing great work ethic and achieving success. After years of hard work,
these three have developed solid work skills and are excited and thankful for
their new careers at FileSave Document Imaging.
