Making Music & Chasing Dreams

With just a little support, these guys are making

their dreams come true against all odds!

Program participant Bill has been an entertainer for most of his life and his biggest love is for music!

It all started at MAVIS, the Music Association for the Visual Impaired Students - this is where Bill
met his partners Joe and Ward and together they started The Billy Boyz group. Bill, is the founder of
the band. Joe is the base guitar player and vocalist, while Ward is the keyboard player and another
vocalist. All three are completely blind. There aren’t many bands that can say the same, but that’s one
of the things that makes The Billy Boyz unique. After all, what’s more Rock and Roll than showing the
world how to rock out in a whole new way?

Bill works with his employment specialist to expand his business doing what he loves. Danielle
Androvich provided employment tips and helped connect The Billy Boyz to possible performance
venues. Together with his employment specialist’s help he was able to book performances for his
band and perform at a number of nursing homes throughout Monmouth County. He even performed
for the participants at an Easterseals day program in Mercer County.

You can catch The Billy Boyz Live performance the 2nd Thursday of every
month from 6:00-8:00p.m at Sal’s Roma Deli located in Monroe Township.
