Easterseals is Good for Business!

Packaging & Fulfillment Team Supports Sanofi US Patient Kits for 15 Years!

For one of its products, Sanofi US offers a take-home educational kit to patients once they are discharged
from the hospital. Ever since the kits’ development 15 years ago, the kits have been assembled by
Easterseals New Jersey’s Packaging & Fulfillment Services team.

Courtney Gibbs, Director, Winthrop & Legacy Brands Marketing, General Medicine & Established
Products Business Unit, Sanofi US. At the fulfillment center in New Brunswick, Easterseals New Jersey’s
participants fold the cardboard boxes, fill them assembly-style with the components and prepare the kits
for shipping. Currently, they assemble about 225,000 kits a year.

Director, Business Operations for Employment Services, Easterseals New Jersey. “We have three teams of
40-50 participants who work on the kits. In addition to giving them a paycheck, it really helps them develop

Courtney was impressed when she recently made a site visit to watch a “build” of the kits. “The
participants take a lot of pride in their work,” she said. “It was important for our team to convey the value
that Easterseals New Jersey contributes to this process. Sharing the message to those involved was
extremely important to us – it was great speaking with Chris about how many health systems value
